This is part two of our ongoing series: Silence and Simplicity. These photographs are an attempt to capture various aspects of rural life, the silence and the simplicity. The following is an image of barbed wire, a sight commonly found amongst military bases and prisons, or areas requiring high security.

CHRISTOPHER WOODS has published a prose collection, UNDER A RIVERBED SKY, and a book of stage monologues for actors. Other photographs of his have appeared or are forthcoming in ANDERBO, PUBLIC REPUBLIC, BAP QUARTERLY and NARRATIVE MAGAZINE.
