Tropical Island was inspired by numerous trips to tropical locales such as Hawaii, the Southern United States (California, Arizona and Florida), the Caribbean and tropical Asian countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Reminiscent of the such hot and humid lifestyles, Tropical Island is an abstract piece focusing on the calm and relaxing environments with palm trees, coconuts and flamingos peacefully coexisting together on a warm sandy beach.

I like the abstract-ness of this work. So colourful and so deep. It reminds me of Hawaii. I can’t wait until Spring Break!!
