The Blight of Overgrowth

By admin on August 4, 2008

Despite the rapid economic growth and industrial development in China since the 1980s, skyscrapers left unfinished in the middle of the central business districts are a common sight. Whatever the reason, here they sit, for the next ten, maybe even twenty or thirty years, before they actually get developed. This is the blight of overgrowth.

Great photo. It’s really lovely! I expecially like the glowing edges a lot. It makes the skyscraper look very stunning. Anyway, good luck with the journal, I am excited to see more submissions from you and other artists.

Nice picture!! I really want to visit Shenzhen sometime. It seems like an interesting place. I have been to Shanghai before, but not any other city in China. Is it any different?
