Concrete Forest

This is part one of our ongoing series – Carpe Diem in Hong Kong.

“Concrete Forest” is reminiscent of the architecture from 1960s to the 1970s in Hong Kong consisting of the typical concrete construction. To facilitate the growing economy and population, buildings had to erected quickly and efficiently. This photo was taken at Peking Road in the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui district in the Kowloon side of Hong Kong, where local and tourists gather in one of the busiest areas in Hong Kong.

  3. Great picture!! I really want to visit Hong Kong. My friend told me about Tsim Sha Tsui before. It is a great tourist district, with nice hotels, restaurants, museums and of course shopping malls. By the way, do you know of any good specific places to visit in TST???
